Live in Australia with your spouse or de facto partner. Apply in Australia for the temporary (820) and permanent (801) partner visas together, from AUD11,710.
The onshore Partner visa lets the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia. You apply for the temporary Partner visa (subclass 820) and the permanent Partner visa (subclass 801) together, with one application and one payment.
The 820 lets you stay in Australia while your permanent 801 is processed. The 801 is usually granted to people who hold the 820. Prospective Marriage visa (300) holders who have married their sponsor pay a much lower cost, from AUD1,955.
